Thank you for your interest in the Newport Yachting Center as a potential place of employment. We are located in beautiful downtown Newport, overlooking the scenic Newport Harbor. We produce, and are host to, many public and private events from May through October. We employ a large number of seasonal staff to fill the many part-time and full-time positions that are available each season. Positions include; parking attendants, marina dockhands and office staff, festival and event staff, operations staff, bartenders, and a variety or others.

Bar Cashier –

• works behind/near festival bars accepting cash
• non-tipped position
• does not serve alcohol
• alcohol safety certification preferred
• bar experience preferred
• experience handling large amounts of cash in a fast paced environment required
• pay rate: $11.00 per hour

Ticket Sellers –

• sells admission tickets\non-tipped position
• experience handling large amounts of cash in a fast paced environment required
• pay rate: $11.00 per hour

Gate Staff –

• works entrance to show by wristbanding customers, collecting tickets, providing show information, greeting
• experience with direct customer contact required
• pay rate: $9.00 per hour

Boat Show Operations –

• works for site supervisors in certain locations of the show
• executes various tasks including; placing signage, delivering brochures to gates, problem solving exhibitor booth needs during show, etc.
• pay rate: $8.00 per hour
